We found a new used quad, 1989 Yamaha Breeze. I have been wanting to get one of these for about a year and finally found one at a great price. This little red beast is pretty ugly and needs a little work but it runs pretty darn good. This is perfect bike for L and A, and even J. We can now take almost the whole family out for a ride.

Family Dunes party!!!
Mom and Don had tinfoil dinners too, but theirs were filled with halibut!
That dog looks like it wants to eat N's hotdog.
S beat out D for wipe out of the day with sideways roll down a nice hill, cracking the Canam all over and breaking the starter. We had to tow it back with D's Bruteforce (that Bruteforce is an amazing bike).
Over Nighter at White Sands and Sand Mountain
This was pretty fun, of the wheeling families only J's was missing (and we did miss him and his), but the riding was fun. We were riding so much we didn't get too many pics of the dunes. These pics show D sleeping on the trailer with his lapdog. S getting the fire going, and A waking up in the morning standing in front of the our newest and oldest machine "little big red" a 1986 Honda TRX125 . Before bringing it out we did an oil change, and added a fuel filter. Amazingly it could haul my 200lb carcass around out on the dunes, what a bike!

Next ride in less than 2 weeks!!!
The next ride is out to Little Sahara and Sand Mountain. We are doing an overnighter for all who want to come out and enjoy some riding and tinfoil dinners. Call if you want to caravan down, or if you want to know what campsite we will be at.
More pictures when we get back.

'Da KNOLLS - Awesome!
05 Sept '09
Went to the Knolls this morning. Took the boys out for a 1/2 day ride, and boy am I glad I did it! The Knolls is a great place to ride! It has salt flats for speed and distance riding, trails for getting technical, and even some dunes for added pleasure. Very beautiful place to ride. We had planned on staying just till noon but ended up staying for a couple extra hours having loads of fun. Nate rode like a little monster and had only one minor wipe out on the "little tank" (he rolled it over sideways right before we got back to base). Luke did awesome on "little big red" for the first time we have ever had it out. That 22year old machine will go anywhere! Much more fun to have in the future out at the Knolls.
