I found another 1984 Honda 200ES Big Red

This one is in much better shape than mine and comes with a parts machine, trailer, and a plow!!!  I should be able to make my nasty Big Red look presentable and find it a home in the fall.   I am going to pick it up on Thursday!

The Screamin Scrambler!!!! Polaris Scrambler 90cc finds a new home with us!

I found this little Quad this last week and made a pretty low-ball offer and today got the email response saying the guy would take my offer!!!  L and I jumped in the Suburban and trekked out to Tooele to inspect and pick it up.  Money from the sale of the Little Big Wheel and the Chinese little tank almost paid for this one completely.  The ride out to Tooele was nice and we talked about this and that as we drove along the mountains and past the Salt Lake.  This one we purchased to replace the little tank (the Chinese bike) that I got rid of because it was past it's prime.  The cool things about this little two stroke are that it has a thumb extension for the little hands that will drive it everywhere this summer, and it comes with rear paddle tires on Aluminum rims (like a $200 value)!  This has been a good day for both D and us.

More Road Side Ride Vids

Road Side Ride Vids

Road Side Ride, Nice Little Place to Ride ATVs with our Neighbors

We took off to check out a little place to ride that is about 20 minutes from our home!  We went out with our good neighbors from across the street.  Lots of good fun, and this is the kind of place we can go ride at for just a couple hours (this time we were out for about 3hrs of good riding).

Bye Bye Little 2007 Tao Tao 110cc ATV

Today I tried to start little old Tao Tao for the last time.  After almost three years of very good service the little Chinese ATV would not start.  After being rolled by a few times by cousins and N it was time to let the little one go.  It was sold for a respectable $150 to a nice gentleman from Eagle Mnt.  He plans on getting it going for his 6year old daughter.

Great Day at the Dunes!

I need the pictures we got from the trip for posting.

The trip yesterday was great!  Just three of us went, but the weather and riding was great.  No machine problems, lots of people out there at Sand Mountain, but we found plenty of bowls and trails to enjoy that were untouched or wide open.  I can't wait to go again.

Wendover 300 is May 1st!  J and D get your stuff together (entrance fee $75 and $15 or $40 daily or yearly membership).

D is working on a trade for a sweet Yamaha 450 that has a 480 kit, I can't wait to see if that works out.

Here's a picture of the bike D is trying to trade for.

Goodbye to J's '01 Raptor

I can't believe he did it!  Goodbye fair Raptor, may J find another ATV that makes him excited once more.

Yamaha BW 80 is SOLD!

We sold the little bike today!  I actually made $75 on it.  It was a great little bike, but we need another ATV for the little ones.  Now my KSL searches will have more purpose.

D put his Brute Force up for sale or trade, and it sounds like he has got some good responses back.  I fully expect him to have a sweet ride in the next week or so.

Also D has been getting the 250R ATC/V ready for the season in hopes of trading it or making a buck on it.

Dune Bergs sticker finds a home

J & E gave me this sweet sticker for my birthday and I finally found a place to stick it.

The Breeze had no stickers on it but the registration ones, it needed a little spice.

Big Red Plow Video hits 1000 views!!!

Wow!

Yamaha BW 80

This is our awesome BW 80.  I am going to list it for trade on KSL for a little Polaris, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, or Kawasaki as I think we will be needing one more little ride for Nate (the little Tank Tao Tao is not running at the moment).

I really wanted this bike but I don't want to go through the hassle of getting it licensed.  The good news is that the Breeze and the TRX 125 are both running as of yesterday!  As is the Raptor and the Big Red.   So the only bikes out of commission are the Blaster and the Tao Tao!

I can wait to ride!!!

Big Red Plow Vid hits 900 Views!!!

So to celebrate I did a DIY reupholster job on the Big Red and the Breeze.  Both bikes were in serious need of new seats so I watched a vid on YouTube that showed how to do the work.  This is my first try and admittedly my seats aren't perfect, but the material to do two bikes only cost $5!!  Of course I spent a couple of hours removing the old seat covers and getting the new ones on.   Next time I am going to sew them to fit perfectly.
