:)
I had to put some pics of the Big Red with the chains on. I modded them so they fit really nice and tight, and they work great! I plowed today and it was great. The Big Red even drives pretty good in the snow, kind of floats on the snow (I only got stuck once). The only negative is it is a little bumpy when you get going. I love it, this is the most fun I have had in the snow in years.
Snow again soon, please!
Now I need a wind shield and a front tire.

Trying to Trade For a New Front Tire
D gave me this nice Kenda Front tire and rim, but it won't fit my Big Red, so I am trying to trade it for a good tire to replace my badly cracked and slow leaking no tread tire.

Plowing with the ATC
Some video of me plowing. It took some getting used to but I think I have almost figured it out.
24 Dec 2009
Christmas eve I took back the chains that were the wrong size and got the right ones from Cabelas. After a little modification I got them on and took them out to try. They help so much! Now I won't get stuck, well at least I will be able to back up when I do. Pretty cool! I think this is my best Christmas present ever!
Hope it snows again soon!!!!

Big Red Christmas Plow!!!!
I found my 1984 Honda Big Red 200ES!!!
Last night and this morning I posted a WTB add in a couple spots on KSL's classifieds. Response was limited but successful. And I got a little note from KSL for posting my ad in the wrong place. It was worth it I had an older gentleman in my same town call and express interest, but he wanted to work some kind of joint-ownership timeshare thing, so I went to look. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it had the busted front shocks. Another fellow down in Payson had one that was in good mechanical condition but really ugly, so of course I was interested. I am heading down in a few minutes to see if it is all he says it is, and I am excited!
Here are a couple of the pictures he sent of this almost 26 year old classic.
No rear fender, ripped seat, almost bald front tire, yep this the one.
My favorite part is it is already tagged and good till next year!

Oh yeah! Trike time.
Okay a few days ago it really dumped on us. I mean lots of snow and boy was it heavy (first time this year I wasn't able to shovel all our driveway and sidewalk). So it was ultimatum time, $1000 for a decent snowblower, 2500 - 5000 for a quad with plow, or something a little out of the ordinary. Guess which one I chose? Of course I chose the Honda Big Red 1984 200ES THREE WHEELER with PLOW!!! I found one on KSL for $600 with the plow, it sold in 2 days (before I could get to it). Then by chance I found a three wheeler plow on KSL for $250, sweet after some negotiation we went up north and picked it up on our way to look at the lights at Temple Square. Now I am looking for the Quad to go with my system and I want to have it all put together before the next storm (no more shovelling for me, if I can help it).
D offered his 200 but it has no reverse, evidently reverse is a must for this particular vehicle, so I am still looking. I emailed E & J, maybe J will sell me his, but I think he has bonded to it over the years.

1987 Honda TRX 250R
Chinese 250 4 stroke, sold after 6 months.
The old 77 Sporty, cause of marital disputes for 6 years.
What I got in trade for the Harley, not a solution to the marital problem, but a step closer.
I forgot to post these pictures from the past. The Honda 250R is long gone now but it needs to be noted in this ATV history. While I was living in CA I purchased an old '77 Sportster from a jerk in LA. The experience was horrible, although I did enjoy the road trip to pick it up. While I was still in CA D came and picked it up (he was going to finish the bike for me). After all these years I decided to free D of the bike (it had been in his garage for like 6 years) so I traded for this awesome 250R.
I only had this historic bike out once to the dunes and couldn't quite figure out the wonderful 2stroke power band so I decided to trade it away (boy was it noisy). The bike I traded for was awesome, but as we were about to move I sold it for $3800 (Honda 450R 2wheeler), which ended up being a nice profit from the original price of the Harley, not that I would do it again.
The white ATV is from our first Chinese batch of ATVs that we got for Christmas 2007. It was a 250 four stroke, and ran pretty good once you got it started (although it handled poorly) we sold it for $600 (I think?) after we got J the Blaster. The Blaster, 11 years older, still dramatically out performed the Chinese 250, and J was able to control it much easier.
I'll never forget going out to 5mile with J's fam and taking the Chinese 250 up a huge hill with J. It got rocky and the chain got knocked off stranding me way up a hill. We tried what we could but due to a poor design the chain was wedged. Eventually J went to get tow straps and I waited on the hill. After a few minutes I decided to try and coast the bike down, and it workd the chain popped back on and I was back in action.

Piute Trail ATV Summer Vacation 2008
Piute Trail Hotel elevator with the boys.
Little dust storm when we went to dinner.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Out to dinner Piute Trail Trip.
The pool was covered and a great way to relax after riding.
There is the temple off in the distance, and J in front of us.
Good to have good cousins.
No air-conditioning in the 1990 Suburban, so it was natural style to stay cool.
N was going to fast again here, I believe.
This trip was great.
We got J's fam and ours out for this great trip in Summer of 2008.
My J on the Blaster (maybe it will be back for 2010)
J and R racing (yep that is a wheelie).
Here is where we stayed, and there are our vehicles and trailers.
The boys aching to ride.
